Dear Families of FFX, 

Easter is the greatest feast in the Christian calendar. On Easter Sunday, we celebrate the

resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Easter Sunday comes at the end of Lent, 40

days of prayer, fasting and almsgiving. Through spiritual struggle and self-denial, we

prepared ourselves to die spiritually with Christ on Good Friday, the day of His Crucifixion,

that we can rise again with Him in new life on Easter. I would like to extend my sincere

thanks to the Intermediate students in Mrs. Ranby for preparing the Stations of the

Cross for our school community on Holy Thursday.

On behalf of the staff at Father F. X. O’ Reilly Catholic School, we pray that your family

will celebrate a joyous Easter.
